Pepsico’s Racial Equity Justice Initiative stretches across all of its brands. My team develops and leads its brand-specific initiatives for Mtn Dew, Pearl Milling Company, and the Pepsi service divisions. The Southern food service division tasked us with developing an engagement that would support and spotlight Black Owned Restaurants. So, we partnered with award-winning chef Marcus Samuelsson to create a travel food show, ‘You Have to Taste This’, that would highlight these restaurants like they were Michelin-star destinations.
